Hand-built vintage tone in a small, easy to carry and listen to package. This is a re-creation of one of the most popular and widely played guitar amplifiers -- The Fender 1956 Tweed Deluxe. Using 6V6 power tubes, a 12 inch speaker, and 5Y3 tube rectifier, this amp is excellent for at-home use, small club venues and is one of the most-used amps in rock-and-roll recording studios around the world. You can find Fender Deluxe's and amps like them in clubs the world over and frequently used with a microphone on concert stages in front of thousands (thanks Neil, great tone!). Built using topnotch components, proven point-to-point wiring techniques, and assembled and tested individually.
This amplifier will sound terrific right out of the box and for decades to come.
Give it a listen:
(These sound files were produced
by mic'ing the amp from 1' in front and running the mic through a Tascam
Mixer into the computer and saving the sound file in a QuickTime or RealAudio
small file format using Sound Studio or RealAudio Producer. Believe
me, the amp sounds *MUCH* better in person!)
